Dear Friends & Family,

As you might have already heard, the Business and Economic Development Committee voted YES for Sankofa’s Tax Abatement Bill!

We are very happy to have successfully checked off this first and important step towards ensuring that we get the YES vote all the way through! We truly appreciate your support and efforts in helping us make this happen!

It’s on to the next step now, as we start working on ensuring that we get the same vote of YES from two thirds of the full city council! To continue to encourage council members to cast their votes in favor of a 10 year tax abatement for Sankofa, scroll down and send your emails to the council members.
